This was one of my favorite hotels from my vacation to Japan. Compared to similar hotels in the price range, the rooms are big and the bed was comfortable. Although it would have been nice to have a breakfast service included at the hotel, there are plenty of dining options just down the street.
For some, the location so close the train-line could be a negative due to the noise, but for me, I enjoyed the white noise, and it didn't really affect my ability to sleep. Plus, the hotel is located so close to multiple stations, so you can hop right on to the Yamanote line to get to where you want to go for the day! The Nippori area was so beautiful too.
When I was there, there was an employee at the front desk who was able to assist me in English, so my limited Japanese ability was no problem. If I ever have the chance to visit Tokyo again, this might be my...
Read moreIt can be small for two people but I’m sure it can work if you both don’t mind. For my experience, it was perfect! I was traveling alone so it was exactly what I needed. I just had my suitcase on one bed and I slept on the other. Plenty of room for one person. not to mention really affordable! I stood there for 3 nights and paid no more than $300 US!! Staff is helpful. There is a bit of a language barrier but they do try hard to help you as much as possible, might want to use google translate for easier communication. The neighborhood is quiet. There’s a 711 less than a minute walk and a McDonald’s right next to it. Not to mention Nishi-Nippori station is walks away and you can take that to just about anywhere in Tokyo! At night the neighborhood comes alive with little restaurants that a lot of locals go to. Definitely will stay here again when...
Read moreWe stayed here for about 5 days. What we loved about this hotel is that it is so close to the lines and has easy access in and out of this area. They have a great variety of restaurants nearby, and for those who love a fresh squeeze OJ in the morning, they have a machine across the street. We had a pleasant stay because the rooms were clean and tidy. You can tell how mindful they are because they had items like face wash and toothpaste right by the elevator. The other thing they had was a laundry room for us to do laundry, which was not bad at all. 7-11 and Family Mart are all within walking distance, even a McDonald's. They also have a fantastic coffee machine for your morning cup of Joe. People might complain about the trains, but if you are like us from a long day of exploring and walking, it does not bother you much because you...
