私は約17,000円分の商品を購入した後、レジカウンターの後ろに飴が置いてあるのを見つけました。近くで子どもが絵を描いていたため、その子のために飴をもらえるかどうか、拙い日本語と英語で丁寧に尋ねました。
女性スタッフの方は感じが良かったのですが、男性スタッフが突然「NO!!」と大声で怒鳴り、私の顔をにらむように見ながら答えました。その態度に非常に驚き、ショックを受けました。
私はこれまでに20回以上、日本の東京・大阪・福岡・北海道などを訪れていますが、これほどまでに失礼な接客を受けたのは初めてです。
その後、子どもが近くに来たため、再度子どもと一緒に「キャンディーください」と笑顔で尋ねたところ、ようやく女性スタッフがクーポンをお持ちの方限定だと説明してくれました。最初からそのように説明していただけていれば、このような恥ずかしい思いをせずに済んだはずです。
男性スタッフの表情、態度、口調は非常に不快であり、まるで差別を受けているような印象を受けました。GAPの接客方針とは到底思えない、非常に残念な対応でした。
この件について真摯にご確認いただき、当該スタッフに対して適切な接客マナーと顧客対応についての指導を行っていただくよう、強くお願い申し上げます。礼儀正しく丁寧に対応している顧客が、このような扱いを受けることがあってはなりません。

I made a purchase of approximately 17,000 yen and noticed some candies behind the counter. As I was with my child, who was drawing nearby, I politely asked—using my limited Japanese and English—if I could have one. The female staff member seemed approachable, but the male staff responded in a shocking manner. He abruptly shouted “NO!” at me, with a visibly angry expression, directly to my face.
I was stunned by his reaction. I have traveled extensively, including more than 20 visits to various parts of Japan such as Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Hokkaido, and I have never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior in Japan or elsewhere.
Feeling confused and embarrassed, I was about to leave when my child approached me. I asked again, this time together with my child, and only then did the female staff member explain that the candy was only for those with a coupon. This should have been explained from the beginning. If I had known, I would never have asked in the first place and avoided such an uncomfortable situation.
The male staff’s tone, facial expression, and sudden outburst were completely inappropriate and deeply upsetting. It made me feel as though I was being treated differently—perhaps even discriminated against. I truly hope that this is not in line with GAP’s customer service standards.
I respectfully request that this incident be reviewed and that the male staff in question receive proper training on appropriate customer service and communication. No customer should ever be made to feel disrespected, especially when interacting politely and reasonably.

Read moreWe only spent roughly about 2 hours here due to limited time but we got good Seiko offers and this shop have tax refund facility which we don't need to go 2nd floor for our tax refunds.
Bought a limited edition astron which when launched is 200,000 yen. Displayed about 150,000 Yen but just happened there was a 20% discount so after tax refund became around 125,000 Yen. My wife also bought a Seiko Lukia Solar for around 45,000 yen (saw a same model outside retailing at around 60,000 yen) with bundle discount due to my watch. It was offered and we did not bargain. Reckon we just pop by during promotion period (purchase above 100,000 yen) so we were lucky.
We also checked out the Adidas/Reebok outlet and the ABC outlet and prices seems good but we also saw similar prices at Sports Depo Ameku and Naha Main place. Reckon shoes are relatively cheaper here overall.
Overall this place worth a check but don't expect prices to be as competitive as other Premium Outlets like in US or...
