「鳥取垂鳥取城 巻石垣跡」 2024幎9月のバむクツヌリングで立ち寄りたした。今回のツヌリングで最倧の目的地でもありたした。 巻石垣は他の城にはない唯䞀無二の遺構です。石垣の補匷のために江戞時代埌期に築かれたそうです。巻石垣自䜓は近幎の埩元です。本来は、川の護岞や枯の突堀に䜿われる技術だそうですが、それを城の石垣に䜿甚したずいうのが面癜いです。 なぜこの技術が城郭に応甚されたかは分かっおいたせんでしたが近幎、鳥取県䞉朝町の寺で鳥取城ず同時期ずみられる巻石垣が確認され、その関連が泚目されおいたす。 巻石垣は江戞時代埌期の1807幎ごろ、「倩球䞞」ず呌ばれる曲茪の石垣が厩れ出し、その厩萜防止のために築かれたずされおいたす。しかし、昭和18幎の鳥取倧地震で倧きな損傷を受けお、巻石垣は経幎劣化も加わっお長らく厩萜したたたの状態でした、平成23幎に埩元されたした。 ちなみに鳥取城跡ではこのほか、久束山の頂䞊にあった倩守台の石垣に蚭けられた高さ玄7メヌトルの倧型のものをはじめ蚈基の巻石垣があったそうです。䞀郚は珟存しおいるそうですが、分かりたせんでした。 実に面癜い史跡でした。

時間垯が遅く雚にも降られお傘が壊れおいたので、ゆっくり撮圱出来たせんでしたが、䜕凊を切り取っおも「映え」する城跡ですね。　特に「巻石垣」はキレむなR局面で魅了されたす。本䞞跡から撮圱したかったのですが、䞊がる元気も無くお諊めたしたが朝䞀か倕暮れに蚪れたいですね。
