Friendly owner that runs this self help place is always happy to advise you on getting around the place. ||||If you are prepared to pick up after yourself, help keep the place clean and don’t mind very basic accommodations that are not too far from attractions. Excellent hostel for the price, the 24 hour breakfast was very convenient. The rooms were nice and warm while it was 7deg outside. We took advantage of the car hire which was very convenient for exploring Oirase Gorge and cheap too. The owner was very helpful, he helped us locate a missing passport that was left on the bus, and even drove us to the bus depot to retrieve it. Highly recommend this hostel if you're visiting...

ここのホステルに5☆を上げる事ができません。サービスが無くて、店員がいなくて、防犯が多分あるけど、瞬間に何も出来ないかもしれません。理由はホステルが11月の真ん中ぐらいに閉店すると思います。

しかし、いい泊まりでした。

周囲の村は田舎ですから、安全の気持ちでした。壁と窓には傷があったけど、雨の漏りを気付きませんでした。10月6日の朝に私がホステルの中央に客一人でした。携帯でカラオケをできますｗｗ。

ホステルが愛されたみたいですから、歴史の気配を感じました。かわいそうな状況です。

I can't give this hostel five stars. There was no service, no staff, and though there were probably security measures, nothing that could help in an instant. The reason seems to be that the hostel is shutting down mid November.

But I still had a good stay.

The surrounding village is remote, so I felt safe. The walls and windows have some damage, but I spotted no rainwater leakage. On the morning of the 6th I was the only customer in the entire hostel, so I was able to do karaoke on my phone lol.
