We go to the Kansui Park for leisure walking occasionally and taking photos if there have special events. This Summer, the Park holds a Summer Fountain with light and music starting from 25 July to 31 August - where Funogi's Photographer also went there taking for nice photos and videos. “Where Water Dances: Nightfall at Kansui Park’s Musical Fountain” - Our Funogi's Kansui Park, located just a short walk from Toyama Station, transforms into a luminous haven after sunset. The southern fountain synchronizes with water jets, colourful lights, and ambient music — creating a mesmerising spectacle that reflects on the canal’s surface. The surrounding promenade, Tenmon-kyo Bridge, and canal views complete the experience, making it a beloved spot for evening strolls and photography.

I came here very often during my stay in Toyama, it's definitely somewhere you have to go if you're in the area. The park is huge, and they do a fantastic fountain show in late summer evenings. There is also a solar powered boat which you can catch to look at the water elevator, or even to cross through it and get off at Iwase with a tram trip back! It is a fun experience that I would recommend. I do wish there was a cafe there that wasn't a starbucks though.
