A modern and beautiful urban park near Toyama Station. You can reach it with 5 minutes walking. It’s a very urban park, no Japanese garden, but museums nearby, large area for walking and for appreciating it’s architecture. There’s a Starbucks with a nice outside area where you can cave your coffee and relax. For bird watchers, they have a small structure for that. Lastly, they have 2 towers/building where you can see the park from above. It has elevator and it’s free (you can see the buildings from my photos). Read moreI recently stopped by Toyama Kansui Park while traveling from Gero to Kanazawa, and holy cow, it was amazingggg. The view of the snow cap mountains in the spring was breathtakin'.
The best part of the park, though, was def the towerrr. It gave us the best view of the mountains behind Toyama city - I mean, I've never seen anythin' like it. there's a Starbucks right in the park too, so you can grab a cup of coffee and take in the views.
If you're ever in the Toyama, I'd def recommend stoppin' by Toyama Kansui Park. Must see place...
