I went here for uji pilgrimage and seeing kumiko and all other characters in heian dress on platform 1! Definitely worth a stop!
The station is beautifully and uniquely designed, brutalist kinda architecture and the structure is unique compared to all the rest of japan station. Making it a worth stop even if you are not a hibike fans!
