Well laid out museum that has a natural section and also a history of Kumamoto section. Exhibits are nicely presented. If you can't read Japanese, then you can only read the headings but not the explanations. Planetarium was excellent as well. A very detailed museum that has everything Kumamoto related in it. From fossils found in the area to war memorials, all the way to the types of animals and insects that are native to the prefecture can be found here. History buffs will have a fun time exploring this place as it also has historical items from the past that are on...
