Hachiman-yama Park — Attraction in Utsunomiya

On the evening of April 14th, we stopped by on our way back from sightseeing in Nikko. Although the cherry blossom festival had already ended the day before, on the 13th, we were lucky to experience a beautiful flurry of falling cherry blossoms. I had also visited on Friday the 11th another client, when the festival was still ongoing despite the rainy weather, and were able to enjoy food from the snack-booth, such as grilled squid and takoyaki, octopus balls cooked in a special pan and topped with sause and bonito flakes. Last week there was still no cherry blossom so I went back yesterday. This park is huge! There is a couple of things you can do here. I enjoyed spending time here with friends last week and some me-time yesterday. I also went winter January 2019. We went up the tower and the view was amazing. Went towards evening time and it was still so pretty. Just a cool and beautiful place to walk around and get some fresh air. A lot of shrines and historical things dotted around the area along with a zoo, the garden, park and the bridge which are all awesome to look at but also good photo opportunities.
