2024.05.04 ・北防波堤ドームを望む場所に、ドデカい鳥居が建てられています。最北の地を護る砦となるいい名前の北門神社は、この参道突き当たりの階段を登ります。 ・道路脇には大きな御神燈、おしゃれな曲線の道路、階段の手前には狛犬と、かなり雰囲気のある神社です。 ・階段を登りながら振り返ると、北防波堤ドームを望むことができます。いい場所ですね。 ・授与所横に第二鳥居があります。社殿もすぐそこ。鳥居の前でお辞儀をして参拝することとします。 ・はっきりした色合いの、ちょっとおしゃれな社殿ですね。たまたま人がいない瞬間を写すことができましたが、連休のためかポツポツと人が途切れることがなく参拝に来ていました。 ・吽形の狛犬の下には子孫繁栄の子どもの狛犬もいます。 ・社殿の中には左右に弓が奉納されていて、最北の地を護っているのが伝わってきます。 ・参拝後、授与所にて御朱印をいただきました。ここは神主のいる最北端の神社とのことで、参拝客も多く、御朱印をいただきに常に何組が待っている状態でした。 ・伺ったときは、神職の方がお一人で対応されていて、ちょっと大変そうでしたが丁寧に書いていただき御朱印を押してくれました。日本最北の神社というスタンプにあこがれて参拝客が多いんでしょうね。初穂料は500円とのことで奉納させていただきました。 ・江戸幕府の北方警備に由来する神社。郷社ですがかなり立派です。歴史があまりない北海道で、神社参拝をしながら近代化前の想像をして、日本と日本人の頑張ってきた歴史を振...
