ゲストハウス 然 — Attraction in Yamanakako

Superb location and very stylish & hip boutique-type guest house. Incredibly happy to have found this place with such amazing views of Mount Fuji mirrored in Yamanaka Lake as seen from the room! Beachfront property, it can't get better than this! In summer there are many water sports one can do here and there are rental boats, hiking trails, a huge flowers park also not far. This lake is the closest to Mount Fuji and it features a large family of resident SWANS that you can bribe with swan food to be in your photo. The Guesthouse Zen also has a dormitory if you are in a budget. Nothing can beat a sunny day sparkling Fuji view from my room as I'm typing this though! Very clean and comfortable, there is a nice kitchen where you can warm up food and cook something and they kindly provide hot water and coffee. Toilets and showers are shared and very clean, towels and cosmetics are also provided. Very kind owner, offered a pick up from the lake side where I was stranded and it is a pleasure to walk all along the lake though it might take more than 3 hours, many do cycling and jogging here. I've been searching for ages for such a stunning lodging and is now one of my favorites together with Yamadaya on Lake Shoji. But ZEN is more private and elegant. There are a couple of Hot Springs around the lake where you can relax. Really a dream world, happy beyond expectations, thanks again to the ZEN Guesthouse, can't wait to be back...

This place is umbelievably beautiful, breathtaking and pure magic, is a guesthouse with only 3 rooms, but 2 of them have an amazing view of mt fuji and the lake, it was and incredible stay, there are plenty activities to do on the lake and although there are very few options for eating nearby and also you have to see what are their schedules, you might probably have to survive with seven eleven food which is a 10 min walk, but you have a big kitchen in here so I don't see any problem with that, it's also very very empty everything in the town at least in low season but that wasn't a problem for us, also you can take a bus and go to chureito pagoda and fuji q highland and some other amazing views of mt fuji, if you want to see mt fuji I believe this is the best place to do that. The owner is really nice and helpful, before check out we talk with him and make a cultural exchange for more than an hour, he might be the best english speaking japanese person in...

We're so glad we chose this place to stay! Excellent view of Mt. Fuji. When we arrived, the owner had already warmed up the room and the blanket which is very considerate. The guest house is really close to the beach area which is a popular spot for photo taking. The owner is super nice and chill. We'll definitely be back!
