Great place for ramen in the area. Not a lot of choices in the area but the ramen here was better than the best ramen we’ve had in the US. Great comfy food and yummy. It’s ma&pa type of place so it’s homemade and good. In this area you are not looking for a Michelin rated place- just a reasonable place with great food. This place exceeded our expectations. Only minus I thought was that they still allow smoking in the restaurant.

土曜19:30 2名、後客1名富士スピードウェイに3日間入る予定があり拠点にしたのが山中湖。この日は仲間とは別行動だったので宿泊先から比較的近いこちらに伺う。どさん娘さんといったら全国チェーンの札幌みそラーメン、のはずなんだけど、ん？基本昼間の11〜1430しか営業してない？土曜だけ17:30〜20:00営業してるそのタイミング。 google先生にマップでこちらを入力してナビってもらうと「どさんむすめ」っていう。ん？google先生、まだまだ日本語のインプット情報足りないんじゃない？とか思ってたら、これが正解。おなじみの、どさん子とここ、どさん娘は別物だった。初めて知ったよ……。ねぎラーメン（900円）小ライス（150円）をラーメンはみそ、醤油、塩、のベースに、あさりバターラーメンや白みそラーメンはわかるが、え？エビチリラーメン？なかなか攻めたラインナップもある。どさん娘さん事情には疎いけど、きっとこれはこちらのお店オリジナルな気がするわ。ベテランのおとうさんおかあさん、娘さんかな？3人でオペ。店内の空気感からきっとかなり長い間営業されてきてるんだろうな、山中湖でラーメン屋さんといえばみたいな感じで昭和から地元の憩いだった空気がある。ちょい酸味もあるしっかりした味噌味、ロードサイドや古い暖簾で子供のころから馴染みあるような安心感、あ、そうですよねと思える飾り毛のない味噌ラーメン。玉子麺ではなくオーソドックスな中華麺、中太縮れ麺なのはきっと他のラーメンでもスタンダードだからだろう。ねぎは塩コショウでさっと炒めた感じかな？ラーショや山岡家みたいなタイプじゃない炒められたタイプ、野菜炒めのねぎヴァージョン的な感覚。ライスにのせてねぎ飯、そこにラー油をかけて雰囲気アップ。うん、イメージとは違ったけど、これはこれで美味しい。営業時間や日にちから想像すると多分、高齢になられてるご店主さんおかあさんの地元に還元するお気持ちなんだろうなぁ。次回も山中湖拠点にした際に営業されててほしい。ごちそうさまでした。

Old school ramen restaurant, owned by a sweet couple in their 60s. The food was very delicious: tasty ramen soup and "buttery" noodles. Lots of veggies and tasty meat. Big portions, hard to finish!Yummy Gyoza for only 700 Yen. Go soon 😋😋😋

Definitely not a Michelin star restaurant but this place reminds me of home cooked food by my mom. The flavours are good and the quality is definitely of a high standard. Yes, definitely not gourmet but it's got a little old world charm to it and the chef puts in effort to have it presented nicely. We came here to pig out before and after our Oxfam race.. Twice.....

The place felt really homey and comfortable, I wish I came here sooner so I could have come again. The owners were really sweet and the food was delicious and came out very quickly.
