Akiya Coast — Attraction in Yokosuka

Enjoy the epic sunsets along the coast of Akiya - from Tateishi Park to Sekine Beach with Fujisan 🗻 in the background. This is a nice place to relax. Free parking. Has a public toilet. A convinience store around. A good place to walk with your dog. 三浦半島の西側、横須賀市は秋谷にあるビーチです。 海の家等はありませんがかながわの景勝50選「秋谷の立石」も近く、無料駐車場が利用できます(但し停められる台数は多くありません）。

砂浜は広く、砂質も悪くないです。 海も綺麗で、砂遊びから海水浴までいろいろ楽しめるビーチです。 ただし、太平洋側ですので海が荒れると波が高くなりやすい傾向があり注意が必要。 ここは砂浜ですが、駐車場を越えて立石海岸に出ると岩場が多いです。

トイレは駐車場にあります。 もっぱらクルマで来るなら駐車場側から直で入れますが、バス利用ですと「立石」下車後、レストラン「Don」の横、駐車場の出口から入るとすぐ「秋谷」バス停下車ですと、ファミリーマート向かって右側の細い道を入るとまっすぐ海岸に出られます。

海の家もなく日陰になるものが無いため、長時間滞在ならテントやタープはあったほうがいいです。
