Kurihama Beach — Attraction in Yokosuka

A small beach with mostly families or groups of friends doing barbecues on the weekends. The sand is alright, there are a lot of little stones and shells mixed with some fine sand, and the water is clear for the most part but there is often quite a bit of seaweed. Overall not a spectacular beach, but for those living near Kurihama station, this beach is a short walk away and isn’t too shabby for just lounging around...
