This is a cool little coral farm. I love what the owner is doing with replanting coral back into the ocean. Great learning experience for the kids.

Kids were free, so that even better. It's definitely a quick 30 min tour. Not an all day thing, but Yomitan Gala is right up th hill. There's a pottery place where you can make pottery. And I think there is a glass blowing place there too.

Also, a little restaurant that seemed to have quite a few ppl there, so I think the food might be good. Everytime we've here the restaurant had a steady stream of customers.

Overall we really liked Sango Batake. Very cool seeing what the owner is doing, great education for adults and kids. And the kids got to touch some of the sea animals and...

I came here not knowing what to expect. The lady who works there is super nice, we were able to feed the turtles and my kids loved it. It looks like it was bigger but the lady explained there was a typhoon that did some damage and they are repairing it. There were people working on putting a roof up. I love the fact that they are growing coral and replanting it onto the ocean. There's photos of what they have done and it's amazing. There is a little animal petting area, and a HUGE clam at the end. My kids loved having a up close view of the coral. It was 900 yen per adult, kids were free. They accept cash also $1= ¥1. After there's a nice little beach to hang out at and a sea wall you can walk on. I can't wait to go back and...

Amazing small aquarium!! The workers and owner is extremely nice. They explained their story behind building this aquarium and it’s almost more like a sanctuary rather than aquarium. I have high respect for the people here. They have two sea turtles that they saved and are rehabilitating so they can go back out to sea. Their exhibit is beautiful and set to their environment perfectly. You can tell all the fishes and animals are taken care of with great love. Compared to Churami or other big Aquariums, I recommend here and it feels more ethical. You’re also paying for a good cause and it’s cheap for what it is. Totally recommend!!! Kid friendly as well!! Please support them and give this...

Zukiya san and his father raise 120 kinds of coral in the farm. The farm was damaged by the typhoons in 2018 and 2023, but they are still raising their coral! Very impressive work! And Zukiya san is such a brilliant young man who taught us so much about coral while we were there, and also let us join the sea turtle feeding! During the whole visit he kept thanking us, but actually we should be thanking him and his dad for saving the environment for all of us! Definitely worth the visit! Only 900 yen for the entrance fee (which supports all that they’re doing) but what you get is worth so much more! Please come if you are in Okinawa!
