Serra Forrest Park — Attraction in Yomitan

I go there everyday to walk my dog. Nice thing about this is the parks are all over free for people to walk, picnic, play sports and enjoy the outside. From this one, I can look out over the East China Sea. Sadly recently the trees were trimmed or I should say butchered. the tree trimmers had no experience and cut the trees back to destroy the beauty. I will post photos of the terrible job they did. One other problem is the amount of people who come on the weekends and want a nice environment but Yomitan has hired lawn maintenance and they are thee every weekend and all through the week cutting and recutting and recutting. The basketball hoops have been destroyed by someone CUTTING THE RIMS SUPPORT, this damage is NOT FROM DUNKING. I took photos during Golden Week when my son and I went to shoot hoops noticing how odd the hoops responded to missed shots. You can clearly see that the support of the rims has been cut. Disappointed to see poor logic and even worse problem solving skills applied by the Yomitan Village...
