The food was excellent and reasonably priced. This particular set was 1300¥, came with a drink, and was the highest priced breakfast set on the menu. For the amount of food, I felt it very reasonably priced. The yogurt was savory and the sausages were uniquely flavored. I asked for over easy eggs and both were instead over-medium or over-hard, but I find that very common here in Japan.
The setting was relaxed and quiet, and the large windows in the front gave a beautiful view of the ocean and plenty of natural light. There are between 6-7 tables (with the largest seating four people) and one traditional floor setting that comfortably fits four but could possibly fit six. While it is on the smaller side, I visited on a Saturday between 11-2 and it was never full.
There is plenty of parking available right in front of the cafe in a little grassy area.
The only reason I gave this restaurant four stars was due to the lack of WiFi. Cute little coffee shops should always...
Read moreThe atmosphere is very islandy and out of the way, and because it's not busy at all, you'll almost feel like you're in an entirely different place from Okinawa. The view of the sea is gorgeous, and they've lined the road with aesthetically pleasing plants to compliment the overlook. The food is terrific. It was very close to a healthy country breakfast and was completely different from anything else I've eaten on Okinawa. Special mention goes to the yogurt, which was soft and silky, almost liquidy, and so pleasant to eat. The coffee tastes great and I also tried the ginger milk tea for something new, and it's amazing. One big issue I have is their parking. It's across the street and immediately next to the overlook, which has no barrier whatsoever - one wrong move and you'll find yourself plummeting down into the overgrowth below. Regardless, I definitely recommend this place for people looking for a breather. They accept...
Read moreTried out this brunch spot that's near the water. We appreciated the extra parking lot which had many spots. It's on the way there. They share it with jakkepoes pancakes. The parking lot is a little bit of a walk, but not much.
From what we could tell there were 2 dining areas. The main dining area looks much nicer than the small room we ended up placed in, though it's more secluded.
I ordered the songbird breakfast because of the photos I saw in the reviews showing it was presented on a board. I found out it does not always get presented on a board. Ours arrived on a regular plate.
Everything was good, no complaints, but I wasn't wowed by my choice.
Its a very place to eat, and the easy parking is definitely a bonus.
They take all manner of cards here...
