Sk8City Nairobi — Attraction in Nairobi

I was there on May 23, 2024 for a birthday celebration, the food was really nice.

However, the reservation process by the host was painfully frustrating. There was poor communication, in how calls were recveived, call handling, inability to address customer needs (Linet to be specific). Every call required a re-introduction, promises by your staff to call back the host with information asked for failed. When the host called back to follow up, no apology or at the very least information earlier requested for was offered.

On the D-Day, they were late with the cake presentation, they seemed not to have basic details about the name to be signed on the board and how old the child turns something the host had clearly stated both in writing and verbally. We were advised that there was a character missing so the board would not suffice, this was not well received by the guests in attendance; few minutes later the character was availed for the cake presentation.

This is a clear indication that your staff are not interested in client service. The list is endless, as a guest I was disappointed in your customer service and the lack of professionalism thereof.

This is the probably the most fun I have had in ages. I was able to sort of skate even after one session so I am pretty sure with a few more sessions, I'll pretty much be a pro. They also serve snacks and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) so you can easily stay here the whole day - food service is obviously slow when they're busy.

P.S: I fell quite a bit but nothing that would cause a serious injury - just a bit of soreness. Plus, in case you're wondering, the majority of people fall so don't worry about it and just have fun!

Even though the reviews are not GREAT, I decided to give this place a chance. Big mistake! The customer service is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. They didn’t even ask how old the children are to ensure the charges are fair. The skates need to be disinfected well as they have an odor. No one explains anything at all. Figure it out for yourself expecting little to no help. It was a complete waste of time and money. I feel like I was robbed. Smh. I do not plan to return and would not recommend...
