Hello, Lebanon is a religiously diverse country in the Middle East, where 18 religious sects coexist, including Christianity, Islam and the Druze sect. The proportion of the population between the different religions has fluctuated due to the effects of civil war and regional conflicts, and it is currently estimated that 53.31% of the population is Muslim, 41.4% Christian, and 5.21% Druze. This religious diversity is also reflected in the political system, with the president being a Christian, the prime minister a Sunni, and the speaker of the parliament being a Shia.
