Malibou — Restaurant in Saifi

Very disappointed, honestly not at all what I expected from a place with so much hype.

I went for lunch, excited to try it. The location is beautiful, and the café looks charming from the outside, but the service really ruined the whole experience.

We were sitting outside, and no one even came to check on us the entire time. The waiters were all wearing plain white T-shirts with no name or branding, so we couldn’t even tell who actually worked there. We finished eating and waited over 20 minutes hoping to order something else, but no one showed up. In the end, we just asked for the check. Even that felt awkward the waiter didn’t make eye contact, and it honestly looked like he was trying to avoid us.

Also, we ordered orange juice with the lunch and it came warm. Like actually warm. I’ve never been served warm orange juice in a restaurant before. I had to ask for ice just to be able to drink it.

With these prices and this kind of location in Saifi Village, I expected way more. The food was good, that’s the only thing I can say. But overall, the service was such a letdown.
