Lotus's Kampar — Attraction in Perak

Tesco Kampar used to be the best place to shop for fresh groceries and other necessities. That was like few years ago. Fast forward today, many newly hired staff seems to be undertrained. As widely circulated in social media, local residents voiced their displeasure over staff using bad words which were overheard by young children. Customer service is no longer the best, enquiries seem to be less desired by the staff manning the counter.

Other than that, many promotional items are not available in the physical store. Not sure what went wrong. Soft drinks in carton and fresh produce in promotion are usually few available. Stocks are not replenished on a regular basis.

Nowadays, the only reason I go to Tesco Kampar is to purchase their fresh chicken, best price in town and always available with ample supply.

Having said the above, I've decided to no longer visit this outlet. In Kampar, Econsave has improved so much in terms of customer service and pricing. I foresee in the long run, this outlet is going to loss a whole lot of...

The shopping carts always get stuck with each other, I have no idea why that is happening, have never seen this happening in other places before.

Besides, I think the roads of the parking lot need to be repaved because when it rains heavy (often in Kampar), the place becomes flooded and the water has nowhere to go.

One-way roads are not taken seriously by the people, sometimes causing dangerous, near-accident situations. Improve the road signs and road paintings.

Trolleys are always left on the pedestrian path along the parking lot blocking other users. This is due to terrible road conditions (rough and noisy to move around) and the inconvenience shopping trolley bays (sometimes it required too much effort to push it back), therefore people just leave it anywhere.

Only a few check-out counters were opened when I last visited even though it was a busy time, should open more counters.

Most of the products sold here are much better in terms of its quality when compared to Econsave, same goes for the facilities and overall feel...
