The office staff as well as its driving instructors are a disappointing bunch. It's an unfriendly environment. Their facilities are just big in size but horrible in quality. The whole course is mostly just sitting around in an outdoor "cow-shed" looking area facing their driving circuit. My first lesson consisted of me just waiting for 2-3 hours at their waiting area in the heat. Then, I finally get called up for my turn and I was "driving" throughout the circuit along with the instructor in the car for 30 minutes only when the class is supposed to be 1½ - 2 hours long. They say each session is supposed to be 1½ - 2 hours long in their brochure when you only sit in the car for less than an hour. They make us wait 3 hours for a 30 minute session! When me and my family pointed this issue out to them, they were being very rude and impatient towards us. They finally changed their attitude when I had to raise my voice and threaten to take action against their school. (It shows that when we try to be civil, they don't appreciate it). Only then they apologised and made sure that every class until the day of the driving exam (JPJ exam) was the promised amount of time and I didn't have to wait for 3 hours again at their waiting area. I was given another instructor who was very nice and helpful and did the full class. I was glad of the changes but at the same time I felt bad for the other students who still have to go through this ridiculous procedure.

In the beginning when you sign up with them, you will need to attend their lecture first - so you're given a driving manual (sort of like a textbook) to bring along on the day you have the lecture. If your Malay language is poor or you don't speak it at all, then the lecture and the manual will be difficult for you to comprehend since it's all in the Malay language. They don't have a bilingual manual or conduct a bilingual lecture. The only time more than one language is involved is during a multiple option, computer generated test - only the test is bilingual. The system should be more considerate towards those whose first language is not Malay, in my opinion. They need to understand that not everyone is a native speaker. I had not spent most of my life in Malaysia therefore I lost touch with the local language. I struggled to understand the instructor during the lecture and had to go back home and Google Translate almost the whole book to try and catch up. Apart from the language barriers, the lecture also has some other issues such as the method of teaching and the attitude of the instructor. The lecture is 5 hours long with one lunch break in the middle. During my lecture, we had a female instructor who was probably around the age 50. This lady droned on and on and almost never gave us any productive information. She was quite rude and sarcastic. She would make a few harmless jokes every now and then but the rest of the time she would be condescending towards certain students. For example, there was this one boy who seemed confused during the lecture and she mocked him about whether or not he understood her. She was being very passive aggressive towards him. She also made it a point to tell everyone in the room that we should understand her and that if we don't then it's our loss and that we are not "true Malaysians". There were a few other insulting comments throughout the rest of the lecture. Every topic she reads from the book will be followed by some unnecessary personal stories which wastes time and that has no connection whatsoever. As a result, we only covered a few chapters and at the end of the 5 hours, she told us to self-study the other half of the book.
I highly wouldn't recommend this school due to its poor system...
Read moreTo future student who wanna take a class here, please do read all the review first before you take ur driving license here or else you will ended up spent a lot of money. This is the cheapest driving school in JB but do not get blind and over joy. The fee might be the cheapest but the cost you need to bear after that is even higher. This driving school is the worst driving school. This driving school is unethical & scam. They will only let you pass the JPJ test only if you paid certain amount of money to them. Their modus operandi is after a JPJ test. There will be one old man. Malay guy who are muslim but does not practise Muslim as he be the middle person for JPJ for collecting the money if student want to pass the JPJ test. This is not what have been teach in Islam. As a muslim & old man, you should not do what you did. Very unethical. & to those MUSLIM JPJ as well please be transparent & ethical as well. What goes around will come around. Work diligently. Do you think your salary that you earned and feed your family at home “barakah” if you do this unethical behaviour? Please dont call yourself a muslim if you dont practise what Muslim should have be done. What a shame. All review saying they keep on repeat the JPJ test. So it clearly show something is wrong here. It is not the candidate but the driving school and the JPJ is sus. To whoever from the government sector please take action to this driving school & investigate it including the JPJ staff who were on duties to this driving school.
To those driving school staff, who have known this unethical practise but remain silent please think your action again. You have to remember one day you gonna have a kid & they might be one of them.
Taking advantage, & practise this kind of unethical behaviour to gain profit is really unreasonable. If got half star I will choose it.
Im speaking up on behalf of my brother. Im not gonna let it slide. I didnt take any driving license here but my brother is. People should be evaluate based on their actual performance on that day. Not because of they pay you “extra” under the table only you “pass” them.
To the “Pak cik” who said to my younger brother “nak lulus kena pakai orang dalam, that orang dalam is cubaan merasuah JPJ & the JPJ itself acknowledge the thing” sebagai org lagi tua boleh tak bertanggungjawab sikit? Cant you show a good example to the new generation? Memang hidup berpaksikan duit? Halal haram letak tepi? I will took necessary legal action and dont underestime what im capable of. Rasuah is really untolerateable in MY. lagi lagi sebagai seorang muslim. Tuhan tak pernah tidur pakcik. Dah tua tua ni banyak muhasabah diri. Takut tengah makan rasuah malaikat maut datang tarik nyawa tak sempat taubat. Nauuzubillah minzalik. Sama juga dengan JPJ muslim. Nak gaji besar? Belajar betul betul bersungguh2. Bukan makan rasuah. Tak berkat. I didnt simply acused ya. I have the proof.
To adik adik, please it is okay to pay more at another driving school rather than being evaluate your capability by whether this individual person paying extra “rm350” or not. If they pay they will pass if not they shall fail. Be smart. Dont let them humiliate you guys. Nak cari duit susah. Dont spend your parent hard earn money or you hard earn money to scammmer. Please go through the review and make...
Read moremy experience with this driving school has been nothing short of disappointing and traumatic. from the very beginning, the system itself was already flawed. we were asked to choose our class time, and i selected 2:00 p.m. as that was the only option available but when i arrived on time, my class did not actually begin until 5:00 p.m., leaving me as the last student of the day. later, i was told that the school actually practiced a “first come, first serve” system. if that is the case, then why bother asking students to pick a time slot in the first place? the same thing happened during my extra class for litar. i booked my slot at 8:30 a.m., arrived on time, and yet i was only called in at 12:30 p.m. after waiting for hours without even having breakfast, then i met with an instructor who complained about being too tired to teach and told me to drive properly bcs he had not eaten lunch. as much as i sympathize with being tired, that is not a professional excuse to throw onto students. so tak professional for you to ngadu kat student yang you penat mengajar and mind you, i booked for 830?? yang you panggil i at 1230 kenapa?? salah i ke??
second is yes the unprofessional behaviour of the instructors. i have a lot of experience w this behaviour with them. during my second class, i got scolded for not being able to drive properly. well, bcs its my second time? and tula function you untuk mengajar student. bayar beribu then expect student terus pandai. one time, the instructor called his wife while i’m driving and said “student harini semua teruk terukla”. apoooo perangaii
i also remembered vividly during my second last class, the instructor maki me in the car and keep asking “awak ni tak pernah practice ke kat rumah? suruhla bapak awak ajar ke? anak saya kat rumah tu dari kecik saya dah ajar bawak kereta” okay thank you,, i guessss?? for the information? that is why i bayar beribu kat sini for you teach me dengan ikhlas, bukan untuk dengar you mempersoalkan why my parents tak pernah expose me with driving. pelik peliklah. and he even said “awak dah ready ke nak repeat jpj?” wow macam tu ke cikgu driving encourage student. faham faham. tak kisahlah kan how bad the student is, you as a teacher should never cakap macam tu kat student.
not just that, i also got bodyshaming from them. the word besar tu dah biasa dah dengar. “badan besar takkan tak boleh tarik handbreak betul betul”. :// mengajar tak perlu rasanya sampai nak mention pyhsical of the students. sangat tak professional.
banyak lagi bad things yang i nak cakap abt this place sampai i never want to jejak kaki there anymore. driving lesson should become a good memory for a person considering it’s a new lesson for our next phase of our life. tapi these kind of place and ppl yang buat dia jadi traumatizing. if i boleh pilih other intensif, i would and i hope others will not have to go through what i...
