I wish there was a minus star on Google reviews. We are staying in the resort, so we went to the restaurant for lunch on 1/1/2023. We have 5 people on the table but only 4 plates were served. Everyone had finished their meals but the 5th order still wasn't served yet. We had to repeatedly ask for our order and only received the last order after 30mins since everyone on our table had finished their meals. We didn't think much about it as we thought that this sometimes happens.
At dinner we came again as it was closest to our room and my kids were very tired. We again waited for 1 hour before the food came, only coming out after my husband stood up, got angry and wanted to speak to the manager. We got so angry because there wasn't any updates on the progress of the food after 45 mins of placing the order. The staff and even the manager, none of them decided to come and tell us what happened or why the order couldn't come earlier.
My kids slept on the table. Horrible services. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come to this restaurant. My roasted chicken rice dish was very bad as the chicken was extremely dry. I couldn't finish the food even though I was starving while waiting for my order...
Read moreWe dined here for lunch. It had a lovely atmosphere beside the beach. Unfortunately, the food was not up to expectations. Though the fried kway teow was delicious, the mee reubus was surprisingly tangy (which is not how it should be ), the noodles overcooked and gravy too light. The fish head curry was the worst. The fish was tough, rough and (I believe) cooked for too long. But the rice that comes with it is good. Now for dessert. We ordered cendol but it took a long time to arrive. When it did, it was a great disappointment. The shaved ice was a solid block and quite bland. There was insufficient gula melaka and the other syrups. It was “amazing how they could make something so easy so bad,” and that was a direct quote from my friend. All in all, it was not a good eating experience for...
Read moreI had a wonderful dining experience at Dayang Café, located inside the Berjaya Langkawi Resort. The café offers a beautiful setting with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal surrounded by nature. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we were well taken care of. The outdoor seating allowed us to enjoy the natural beauty of Langkawi while savoring our food. We tried their paid lunch as well along with the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast vegetarian was even nicer. Sort of liked it. The bakery section items were also fresh and tasty. Dessert section was not that impressive. Rest are all as what we find in any star hotel complimentary breakfast menu. The place. The experience. Is all...
