We had lunch on 28 July 2020 after the trip to cable car. We heard mixed reviews on the restaurant so we decided to give it a try. We came in with a group of 5 adults and 2 kids.
The pizza and fresh juices were great. That is the only plus for them.
We ordered roti pratha. The taste was really bad. It seems like the restaurant don’t know how to prepare it.
We also ordered rice, fried fish, calamari and lamb shanks. First time we had the taste of fried fish that seems like it was from leftover although it took them 2 hours to prepare it. calamari taste was like paper cuts fried. The lamb shanks did not taste like how the curry should be. The funny thing is we received our rice last on the list. That is after we had reminded them a few times that we have yet to received the rice.
During our visit, there was a female celebrity visiting and the staff attention was so focused on serving them and kinda forget about other customers. Owh, and the fried kailan that we ordered was killed and mashed up badly until it doesn’t look like kailan at all.
Overall the food from restaurant was overpriced, the service was very very poor and you will find a stuck up owner who did not care about the customers, unless you are a celebrity. You guys can do better. Find a...

A Hidden Gem Near Sky Bridge – Much Needed Comfort Food for Indian Taste Buds!
As Indians traveling through Langkawi, we were desperately craving some good rice and Indian-style curry. Most places we tried served fried rice or non-veg dishes that had a strong raw smell, which didn’t sit well with us. So, on our second day after an exhausting trip to the Sky Bridge and Cable Car, we were just looking for something warm, comforting, and flavorful.
That’s when we stumbled upon Marhaba Restaurant – and what a blessing it turned out to be!
We ordered sea bass fish, fried rice, and dal fry with rice. To our surprise, the dal fry and rice completely stole the show. It was next-level delicious – with a subtle lemony twist that elevated the whole dish. After days of mediocre meals, this was nothing short of heavenly for us.
It’s a long overdue review, but I couldn't leave this unshared. I believe the restaurant is run by folks from Pakistan – and hats off to them for serving such soulful food that truly made our day. If you're in Langkawi and longing for something close to Indian comfort food, don’t...
Read moreAll started well when we walked into the restaurant. Until we saw the people sitting on the table beside us being asked to leave to make way for new customers just because they had asked for the bill and settled the bill in advance. Pitiful as they had only started eating. They were furious and just decided to ask the staff to pack and take away.
The same thing happened to us. As we were eating, more customers started coming in. With the limited tables they had, the manager promised the new customer that he would have our table cleared for them even though we were just half way thru eating our meal!
The waiter (taking instructions from the manager) started clearing our table even though we were still eating... And not long after, handed us our bill even though we hadn't asked for it.
To make matters worse, i was trying to feed my 1 year old daughter food we ordered from the restaurant while this whole thing happened. We ended up being "forced" out of the restaurant with my one year old still hungry and unfed.
I guess profit trumps being humane.
I would never ever set foot in this restaurant ever again.
Avoid...
