German Food Corner (1024783-W) — Restaurant in Langkawi Island

A hidden gem in Oriental Village (Langkawi Cable Car) food court that specializes in Muslim-friendly German Food. The owners are friendly, kind and helpful 😄👍

We came to this restaurant twice in a day. The first time was lunch and the second time to take our cakes (as the owner had kindly helped us to keep them for awhile since we went to the other attractions nearby) and eat them at teatime. 🥰💐

As for the food, they are DELICIOUS! 😍👍 Pricings are REASONABLE and the portions are HUGE 🤩👍 (Make sure that you are super hungry before coming here and it's advisable that you come with more than one person so that you can try more yummy dishes too 🥰👍)

The desserts and cakes are AWESOME! 😍👍🍰 The cake slices are BIG that you can either share it with another person or finish one whole slice by yourself depending how hungry you are. (The cakes at the top cable car station cafe come from this restaurant so you can also give it a try too when you're up there)

Recommended dishes to try: Chicken Schnitzel with Mushroom Sauce and Potato Salad (Best Potato Salad we ever had 😍) Chicken Cordon Bleu with Fries (the warm cheese still oozes out even after you cut it for a while. Yummy 😍) Bienenstich tropical mango cake (heavenly cake goodness 😍) Vanilla milkshake (dreamy cold treat on a hot day 😍)

We had Chicken schnitzel with garlic cream sauce : amazing garlic cream sauce made from actual real garlic . You can really see the humongous amount of garlic in it. Super tasty and crispy schnitzel. We ordered and had it delivered, it remained so crispy and tasty . Chicken schnitzel with blue cheese with potato salad : amazing schnitzel . The blue cheese gravy was authentic and full of cheese goodness. If you don't like cheese, I would advice that you don't order. Chicken cordon blue : value for money. Super thick cuts and oozing with cheese Grilled sea bass : fresh and taste great. No bones. My mom enjoyed this very much. Grilled lamb shoulder : huge portion and cooked perfectly Chicken carribean with rice. : this is truly a unique dish. Taste like curry but with coconut sweetness. I absolutely love this. I really want to try the shrimp carribean the next time.

Most of their dishes come with a side of fries OR homemade potato salad. Do try the potato salad. It is not your usual fast food potato salad. It is real homemade potato salad....

Saw the good review and decided to try. I ordered the food and I had a verryyy short pause to say what I want for drink and the waiter said you can take from the fridge. I said okay but I want the strawberry can. Maybe he didn't hear me, that's fine. I was the only customer and I eat for a while, the waiter seems busy with the phone, didn't bother to check. Was looking at him several times to try order something else but he was too 'busy'. Then his friend came and smoke in the restaurant and speaking with each other in loud voice. Totally spoiled my appetite, I didn't finished my food and wanted pay my bill. Then the waiter asked, do you want a drink? I told him I'm the only customer here and you were too busy to check on me earlier.

I mentioned to his friend that he shouldn't smoke and there is do not smoking sign, he became offensive and asked where are you from and said so what if I smoke in the restaurant. The waiter and his friends are both foreigners, I don't know whether his service is different between local and foreigner but clearly no respect and couldn't care less for your...
