Faculty of Education — Attraction in Kuala Lumpur

The School of Education was established in 1963 and was originally named the School of Education. The School of Education provided graduate education diplomas for graduates who chose to enter the field of education. The school grew rapidly and was upgraded to the School of Education in July 1965. Two years later, the Master of Education (M.Ed) program was introduced for the first time, followed by the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in 1969.

In 1980, the college launched its own undergraduate program, the Bachelor of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language (B.Ed. TESL). This program was developed in collaboration with the School of Languages and the School of Arts and Social Sciences. Other degree programs offered by the college include the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, which began in 1998, and the Bachelor of Counseling, which was introduced in 1997. The Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education program was first offered in 1998, followed by another undergraduate program, the Bachelor of Counseling. The Bachelor of Education (Tamil Language Teaching) was offered in 2000, with the last intake in 2004. In 2004, the Bachelor of Education (Teaching English as a Second Language) was introduced. The faculty is in the UM central area. Near to main library and next to faculty of art. The building was divide into six or seven block. The administration building and dean office is in the back block, about 300 meters from the bus stop in the UM central.

For PhD students, PhD room is available in the first building in front of 24H lib or cafe. Currently the room is under renovation to provide better experience studying in the room. Nothing much to expect in the room, the room only provide more private nuance to write...
