I've dined here before and this time I was greeted with the lack of respect from their owners.
I came in at 12.05 pm to an empty restaurant, ordered two things to take away to be ready at 1240. Staff said no problem.
Come back at 1245 full house. Staff said 5 minutes. I had to tell my grab driver to wait. Food finally came at 1.05. My grab driver cancelled on me and charged me, I missed my appointment. I wanted a refund.
Staff calls the boss named Lawrence. The guy goes on to reject my refund request for about 10 minutes. I explain nicely over and over that I too work in fnb and this sometimes happens and I just want a refund so I could get on with my day.
My point is this guy doesn't want to accept that he was wrong. I only asked for a refund and not the charges from missing my ride, lost of time and missing my appointment. I traveled across countries for this 2 days and I needed things done. I want him to know that people's time valuable and after 10 minutes just said "stop stop stop stop stop, ok fine since you are not happy with our service we will give you a refund, pointless to fight about it. "
Yes Lawrence it's pointless to fight, you need to learn when your team has clearly made a mistake and you can't say "well we cannot refund because the food is already done". Learn how to respect your customers and other people's time. I come back once a month less than 48 hours to spend time with my partner. I want to have lunch with her. If your team cannot commit to serving 2 takeaways in 40 minutes, plus delaying another 20. I don't know what kind of kitchen are you running. Clearly as a boss you know need to work on your management and personal character.
Better wake up Lawrence and smell the coffee, your shop is understaffed and badly managed. Don't slave labour your team and don't be so stingy, its rm50 bro not rm500. Like pulling your tooth out. ๐คฎ #terrible boss #stingy...
ย ย ย Read moreCame to Three Guys Cafe with friends to celebrate a birthday. The vibe? Not it.
The staff were cold from the start โ no smiles, no warmth, just the energy of people who clearly didnโt want to be there (or have us there). We brought like 2 cupcake for our friendโs birthday โ not a cake, not a buffet โ and were immediately told off. Not a polite โsorry, outside food isnโt allowed,โ but more of a โhow dare youโ kind of tone. Got it.
I asked for a recommendation and was met with a blank stare like Iโd just interrupted nap time. Then, when the food came, we were shh-ed โ yes, actually shh-ed โ so the staff could announce what each dish was. Didnโt realize we were dining in a library.
Were we a little loud? Sure. We were laughing and celebrating โ like people do in cafes. But instead of handling it with any professionalism, we got passive-aggressive comments and even heard staff behind the counter mocking us with โshhโ sounds. So mature.
If joy and conversation bother you, maybe donโt run a cafe. However, we appreciate your kindness to serve us. Maybe yall were just having a bad day ๐๐ฅน๐. Hope...
