Hope my review will help future first-time visitors.

My advice after my 1st experience:

Be certain. Make sure you come here with a firm decision that you will proceed with your fertility procedures. Do your research on IVF fees and other fertility costs elsewhere. If you come just to gather new information or advice, like I did, you might end up spending around RM 800.

Once you are certain to proceed with your fertility journey here, please come with your legal spouse. Both partners need to be present because the journey requires check-ups for both of you.

Be prepared financially. Making a child is not cheap these days, even with advanced technology. The estimated cost of IVF here is around RM 25,000, including embryo freezing, storage, and transfer. I hope this figure helps future parents start saving if they decide to proceed here.

My experience: I went here just to get advice and further information about having another baby. My spouse and I have no fertility issues, but we thought of seeking advice on selecting the gender of our future child and the range of procedures available. I am still uncertain about having another baby; I just wanted a consultation on possible procedures.

When we arrived, we were well greeted and needed to fill out the registration form. They gave me an NFC appointment card after the registration process, which I found quite advanced compared to other clinics/hospitals. They also provided a new file containing information about the fees and processes, which seemed quite transparent. It also stated the prices for specialist consultation (RM 190-235), pelvic ultrasound (RM 165), admin fee (RM 20), blood test (RM80).

For my blood test requirements (Hepatitis C RM 240, Vitamin D test RM 140, Kiara test RM 125), the total was about RM 900 just for my first visit 🤭😅 quite shocking..

After meeting the doctor, who performed an ultrasound to check my ovaries and discussed options for selecting the gender of my future baby (advised that it only can be done with IVF, but still, selection done after embryo has form, and then transfer into womb, while unselected embryo will be frozen and charges applied), we were directed to another consultation room.

There, a nurse further explained the procedures required by the doctor, including the blood test. Due to I was not being fully concentrate at that time (as my mind was still thinking to have or not to have another child) I agreed to the blood test (even though they had mentioned the price 🤦🏻‍♀️ I should say no, thus I will be charge only on the consultation and admin, sigh), which was not part of my initial intention that to only seek information and not furthering fertility procedures there.

So, for future parents, if you come here for advice/information, do not proceed with any tests unless you are certain about your fertility journey here, as this will require further consultations and more money. 🤭

Overall, the system, nurses, and doctor were fine. You can ask the doctor to slow down or repeat if you find the information confusing or feel rushed. Patient privacy is taken seriously here; their calling board shows your given number instead of your name. Billing and payment are done in a private room.

In my experience, compared to my previous fertility journey, other places provided similar quality in terms of doctors' competence and affordability, possibly due to more equipments/facilities at hospitals compared here. However, this place felt more private, though the test fees are quite high.

Location: This clinic is located at DC Mall damansara, which has a busy road due to nearby construction. The parking lot at B3 is quite full and confusing for first-time visitors. You may park at green pillars, and take lift to LG. Bare in mind, the roads to get here and get out of here are super confusing, get your waze on!

Doctor: My doctor is nice and gregarious, smiling all the time and approachable, but I felt rushed due to the speedy way the doctor talked to me.

My journey with KL Fertility Center has been nothing short of transformative. From the moment I walked through their doors, I felt a sense of hope and reassurance that I had not experienced elsewhere.

Initial Consultation and Diagnosis: initial consultation with countless OG and end up unfortunate miscarriages , I thought I want to give up but we found Dr. Jasdev took the time to understand our medical history, concerns, and goals. The diagnostic process was comprehensive, including advanced fertility testing that provided us with a clear picture of our situation. The staff explained each step in detail, ensuring we were comfortable and informed.

Treatment Plan and Options: What stood out to me was the personalized treatment plan tailored to our specific needs. We were presented with various options, including IVF, IUI, ICSI and other assisted reproductive technologies. The clinic’s state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology gave us confidence in their ability to help us achieve our dream of parenthood.

Support and Communication: Throughout the treatment, the support from the clinic/TCM was unwavering. The nurses and administrative staff were always available to answer questions and provide emotional support. Regular updates and clear communication made us feel involved and reassured at every stage.

Success and Outcome: After several cycles of treatment, we were overjoyed to learn that we were expecting. The clinic’s high success rates with IVF or undergoing pre IVF was determination with the doctor and each individual, the expertise of the medical team played a crucial role in our positive outcome. The follow-up care and guidance during the early stages of pregnancy were exceptional, ensuring both my health and the baby’s well-being. We are blessed that we giving an opportunity to have these steps for us realize what is impossible to become possible.

Overall Experience: Our experience at KL Fertility Center was marked by professionalism, empathy, and a genuine commitment to helping us build our family. We hope not just for the good review but is sense of responsibility to shared this place to anyone who need family planning.

I hope out any parents out there , that wanting to build a family but afraid to try and might end up afraid of failure. Don't give up !!
