This is how my story of yoga begins. Due to my inherited respiratory problems, I have always been looking for yoga class which incorporates combination of good breathing and meditation techniques. I have tried at many places for yoga sessions but most are disappointing until I met Perl and attended her class. . Perl’s self-invented class is one of a kind and is a complete combination of Yoga + Breathing + Meditation + Workout Training. Since I started around a year ago, it has helped and improved my body wellness in many ways such as core/inner strength, correct postures, flexibility, agility, all-round muscles training and have lost an amount of kg and so on. Moreover, the meditation and breathing sessions has enhanced my spiritual and mental strength as it always brought me to states of stillness and clear all the negative thoughts in my mind, as well as improving my respiratory problems gradually. My health condition has also further improved under the unique sound healing therapy by Perl Jade Sound Healing Therapy. . Perl is not only a good mentor, she is also a good counsellor who will always be there to hear from you and extend her helping hands. Sometimes many might ask why is she rather young but a bit extraordinary and so knowledgable? Well, many might not know she is not locally born and actually graduated from university in U.S. and high school in U.K., and had traveled to many cities since she was a teennager. She is also a vegan to clear some of the doubts. Her kindness, positivity and passion for life have surely helped plenty of people and students around her, either by resolving issues, curing mental illness, clearing negative thoughts, etc. etc. During Chinese new year, she is even artistic and kind enough to write spring couplets in chinese calligraphy for us. In overall, you can expect a great physical and spiritual experience by trying out her class! Sign up now before the slot is full !

Without missing a beat, I replied, “I want to improve my muscle strength and mobility.” Little did I know, that simple answer would open the door to such a transformative (and surprisingly enjoyable!) experience. From the very first class, Perl created a space that felt calm, supportive, and welcoming. Each session wasn’t just about physical movement—she beautifully wove in moments of meditation and breath-work that helped soothe not just the body, but also the mind. I would leave class not only feeling physically stronger, but mentally lighter too. What stood out the most was Perl’s attentiveness. She has an incredible ability to spot even the subtlest misalignment and gently guide you into the right posture. Her encouragement is constant, and her care genuine—I’ve always felt completely safe and supported under her watchful eye. Now, after just four lessons, I’m thrilled to share a little victory: I can get up from a squatting position without using my hands for support! For me, that’s a huge milestone and a clear sign that my leg strength and knee mobility have truly improved. It’s honestly amazing how much progress can happen in such a short time. Yoga with Perl has been inspiring, empowering, and unexpectedly fun. I’m excited for what’s to come, and if you’re thinking of starting your own journey—don’t hesitate. I recently attended my first-ever yoga session, and I had the privilege of learning under Perl Jade. As a complete beginner, I was a bit nervous, but Perl immediately made me feel comfortable and welcomed. She guided me with patience, clarity, and genuine care, making the experience both enjoyable and meaningful.
