They're good. And getting better. And if you read on, I will tell you a great secret (reluctantly).

My family orders the same thing each time we come: roti canai and teh tarik. Good stuff. Never fails.

But what's really nice are the dishes that you can select for yourself: fried gourd, veggies and at least 10 kinds of curry (prawn, chicken, fish, sotong and more). I like creating my own kuah campur. The fried chicken portions are generous.

I love how our family can enjoy a delicious meal for such a reasonable price.

So what is the secret that I am so reluctant to tell? I am reluctant to share this because I don't want this mamak to be overcrowded. But let me share it anyway.

The secret: come here between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. That's when they cook their delicious dishes. Every 5 or 10 minutes, they carry in new trays of dishes. Freshly cooked. Crunchy and delicious. Heavenly.

You will feel like a Sultan eating here...

We went here because we didn't know Murni was closed on Monday. Decided to eat here since we lazy to look for other places.

• Worst service ever. Staffs were not attentive, took us 15 mins to order food despite calling them several times. They took our food order and not our drinks. Had to get their attention again several times just to order drinks. Food arrived an hour later. • Also overheard another table complaining about their food. Not entirely sure why, but not surprised considering the experience we had. • There is a lot of people, but I'm guessing since this is a mamak and there is a big screen to show football, people probably came here to lepak...

Came here because Murni was closed and we thought to give it a try as there were quite a number of patrons eating. However, the overall experience was HORRIBLE

The garlic cheese naan tasted decent but we found plastic (from the cheese packaging) in the naan. This is absolutely not acceptable & the staff just took it away without a word of apology or acknowledgement

Service was very slow. The staff were also not wearing masks properly with most of it hanging below the noses.

Orders have to be repeated several times but staff...
