SK6363 DURIAN STALL — Attraction in Kuala Lumpur

Seeing some people commenting about the price of durian here, really made me laugh my lungs out.

Probably they’re still staying in ancient world, expecting the price of durian to be like 50 cents per piece.

As Chinese saying “Eat rice don’t know the rice price”. Once the seller weight the durian, if you’re not happy with the price, you can always choose not to take. Why were you still buying and then complained about people’s durian expensive?

I’m not trying to help this shop as I have nothing related to them. I have been to this shop couple of times. I cannot say their durian is the best, but at least when my durian was not nice, you let the staff know, they will change it for you.

I have been to many other durian shops, especially to those commercial places like in SS2. Sometimes they may have cheap promo for durian, but the quality of durian I got is 100% worse than the durian I’m getting in this shop. When I complained, I was getting the same type of bad durians.

Honestly always come first, durian second.

Bought about RM85 worth of baby Musang King durians here during their RM15/kg promo. The durian tasted good, but I’m quite disappointed with the service. It's common practice for durian sellers to cut open the fruit and pack the flesh into plastic containers. This helps customers check the quality too.

But this seller refused to give me any container, even when I offered to pay for it. They said they were “saving containers” for other customers, but I saw a big pile of empty containers right there. What’s more frustrating is that the amount of durian flesh was actually very little — the pieces were small and definitely wouldn’t have used up many containers. It felt like they didn’t want to bother simply because we didn't spend a large amount.

Good durian, but...

Been cheated at many other stalls. But here..super honest. They don't sell overnight durian. Go at 1030pm and u see them open unsold durian for flesh to send to factory. Other stalls cheat u by selling cheap but is Grade C. U can get same or cheaper Grade C there. When he sell you Grade A, it is really Grade A. Tell them what taste (sweet bitter, dry or kam) u want and what Grade u want.. n they will find for u. Hard-earn money people. :) oh, when u order from FB, they will open fresh food for u.. not sending u frozen one (unless u want...
