Taman Awam Bukit Fraser — Attraction in Pahang

Made our stops here primarily in the middle of birdwatching.

While I would have wanted my daughter to spend more time here, I was a little concerned by the amount of rust and weariness most of the park apparatus has been through.

The view is lovely as the area across it is largely unobstructed and the cool breeze blows in. During the evenings, the play of light through the clouds is lovely.

The food court is nearby but be cautious if you have kids as many people sit down to smoke in the area between the park and the food court. Common courtesy would suggest that they don't smoke anywhere near a children's area, but can't enforce this beyond a point as it should be understood with...

The park itself is beautiful with tall pine trees adorning the surrounding. Some of the playground equipment are bit worn out. At the higher playground area, monkeys tend to rummage the trash bin, so at times you could see litter on the playground. Other activities available within the park are miniature golf, paintball shooting range and trikke ride for a small sum each. A food court, restaurants and public toilet next to the park make this place a convenient area to spend an hour or so before exploring other areas in Fraser's hill. You can also do birdwatching...

A small, peaceful park that’s good for a quick stop or short walk — Taman Awam is clean, green, and offers a nice break in Fraser’s Hill’s cool weather.

There are benches to rest and a basic playground, though parents should note that the climbing structure has some sharp metal edges, which can be dangerous for children. Supervision is a must.
