Came here for the nasi campur.
Took a half plate of rice with one piece fried chicken drumstick and 2 serving spoons full of mixed vegetables whilst my wife also took a half plate of rice with a ikan keli goreng, 2 serving spoons full of mixed vegetables and a cross sectional slice of nenas masak lemak. We both asked the kakak to look at our plates to ascertain the price but instead was told "takpe, makan dulu, kira nanti." Ordered an iced coffee to share between us too; a bit watered down but what the heck, we're on holiday, let's just go with the flow.
Happily ate our lunch and enjoyed the scenery inspite of other patrons at nearby tables puffing away on their cigarettes whilst the business operator turned a blind eye.
When it came time to "kira", my plate of rice got a marginally high RM7 whilst my other half's got an even higher RM9 and RM2.50 for the diluted iced coffee.
I appreciate that costs can be higher due to additional logistics and transportation of supplies from the lowlands but this occasion somehow still seems excessive. I continue to wonder whether we were charged 'tourist price' or 'random high-figure price'. In any event, kedai makan hamzah is now permanently off...
Read moreFirst i want to say im shocked about the bill. For 3 items i have, they charged me less than 10 ringgit! And, the roti canai is so crispy. I am satisfied with nasi dagang even its cold but what can you do, its fraser hill😂 the hospitality of owner is so warm. Please dont complain too much when you come here, they tried their best to make living. Dont compare this outlet to those in KL or somewhere. The elderly couple owns this outlet so please be kind and understanding. I enjoy the foods, the view is nice and best part is it situated behind masjid so easy for muslim to pray. Try roti kosong, nasi dagang or nasi lemak. And enjoy your day...

The roti canai is delicious yet I need to question whether it is a frozen roti canai or a home made one.
The price I paid is around RM 16 for 2 glass of teh tarik, 2 pieces roti canai and a plate of Nasi Lemak. Quite affordable considering the location and taste.
Located behind the masjid.
Wonderful view while having your breakfast.
