Rojak SS15 Subang Jaya, Kompleks PKNS — Restaurant in Shah Alam

The story started when I was renewing my maid's work permit in Kompleks PKNS. It took me a while to get everything sorted out - you know la.. government agency 😅 wished that they were more efficient.

Tummy was already grumbling earlier so I looked for a quick meal upon reaching the ground floor of the building. A familiar name on the signage attracted my attention. I always ate at Rojak SS15 back in my INTI College days in late 1990s - they were still operating from a truck back in the days.

It certainly made up my day after the frustrations dealing with government officials. The taste was still as the same as I remember... maybe it was for nostalgic sake so it was good for me. Do go to their main place in Subang Jaya...

My favourite is Cendol Special - a refreshing and sweet treat! The combination of shaved ice, velvety smooth coconut milk, fragrant gula Melaka, and the delightful green pandan cendol strands made for a perfect dessert after the savory rojak.

Next is rojak pasembor, was the highlight of my visit. This irresistible medley of crispy fritters, fresh vegetables, tofu, prawn fritters, and a tangy, savory peanut sauce was a burst of diverse flavors.

The staff members were friendly, assisting in providing recommendations and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
