Masjid Universiti Putra Malaysia — Attraction in Subang Jaya

The masjid UPM is the best fascinating place for all. Personally, to me this place is just like paradise. There are so many reasons behind this feelings. First of all, the masjid is huge in size. In each row around 100 people can pray where there are roughly 75 rows in total. Together about 10000 people can pray. The spectacular views of the masjid and the premises steals my heart and mind. There are kids playing zone, sitting arrangements, assembly points, islamic center, lake, garden, huge parking and so on. The beauty of the surrounding premises can not be described by few words only. In this masjid, boys amd girls can pray together as both has different arrangements. Another beautiful thing is, you will see so many kids praying, playing in the masjid. The security is also very alert. Overall, this masjid is a place to pray, rest, study and many more. It also has very well equipped washroom. I love this masjid so much, more than any places on earth as I get the spiritual flavour and very kind...

the mosque itself is okay but there are some improvements need to be considered by the university management.

The toilet I am disappointed with the toilet cleanliness. The mirrors should be replaced already as I can even see my face clearly. Very moldy and blurry. Some toilet seats are moldy and some flushes are not functional. As a mosque, I truly believe that cleanliness should come first. It’s a place to present our faith to Allah after all.

Ablution The floor was slippery. That’s it. That explains a lot so I think I do not have to elaborate.

Muslimah section The path to the women section was dark, secluded. Not to mention it was renyah for a woman to go to the toilet as it was not connected with the mosque itself.

Compared to other nearby universities, this mosque has the worst facilities. I’ll review the mosque of the other universities...
