I believe that treating customers well is essential in the f&b industry, starting with a warm greeting and a cheerful welcome, which reflects professionalism. However, during my recent visit to the Mixue outlet in Serdang, I encountered a concerning situation. A young employee, approximately 19 years old, displayed a lack of proper customer service etiquette. Her arrogant tone and dismissive attitude towards customers were inappropriate and unprofessional. It is important to remember that customers, who are spending their hard-earned money, deserve respect and courtesy.
Additionally, I observed a significant hygiene concern: when serving ice cream, the staff did not wear gloves or any form of hand covering. This lack of attention to hygiene standards is alarming and needs immediate improvement to ensure safe food handling.
I hope that management will take this feedback seriously, as customer treatment should be a priority in any restaurant. A humble and respectful attitude from all staff members is essential.
