The 19 USJ City Mall (Palazzo 19 Mall) — Attraction in Subang Jaya

My wife and I went visited the mall by chance and were not impressed with the mall. We observed that many of the shoplots were unoccupied and vacant. Business appears want of customers as the shoppers were few and wanting. We decided to take lunch at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor and shopped at the supermarket TF Value-Mart down at the basement 1, which seems to draw quite a number of shoppers, perhaps due to the RM150 voucher allocated to registered senior citizens of Selangor. The mall is in dire need of an upgrade to draw in shoppers with the right goods and attractions, although there are already quite a number of shoplots selling a variety of wares and stuff. There are lots of parking spaces...

I trying very hard to give more stars - if I give 3 stars, I'm cheating myself and if I give 1 star, pity for this mall. Been living in SJ over 3 decades and passed-by here thousands of times but to come shopping here only my 4 times, if not because of Matahari wholesale market?

Seem like worse comes to worst now, only ground flr still operating with few eateries and shops. Even elevators and air-con already stopped working. Anyhow, hope the management come-up with some new concepts because is strategic location but what failed me? Their building looked like PPR flats with the colour scheme and terrible dim-lit carpark lots ....I rather parked in the front of the mall or side of...

A bit rundown. Shops opened & then closed for good. DIY left. Sushi restaurant closed. Korean restaurant closed. Not many knew there's a post office at the 2nd floor (almost no queue here😊) (Update: Now PO at ground floor). Matahari wholesale supermarket is not bad. Kayu Manis mamak restaurant quite busy & open 24 hours. Other f&b outlets like Paparich (Update: Closed), Burger King, Gold Chilli (Update: Closed), Ravi (Update: Changed management), plus a couple more are still surviving. Anyway, at the time of writing, there's a new management & the mall facilities appear under restoration at a steady pace. Parking is per entry outside and time-based at...
