Can you escape renewly opened on complete new location. So, all is new. You can feel that Riccardo, Jeanice and the team put a lot of love, passion and dedication into putting escaping further on the map in Malta. The well know room Forbidden Castle has been rebuild on the new location in a new way. So for those who have played that room, it is worthwhile to revisit it again. When you visit Can you escape expect enthusiasm, great service, creativity and a couple of nice surprises in the rooms. We (my wife and me) played Forbidden Castle and Junglemanji borg on the same date. Compared to the Netherlands were normally play escape rooms, the size of the rooms on Malta are smaller. But what the miss in size the fully make up in creativity how the space is used. You really feel like you are going through different areas and zones. Funny elements, creative puzzles and finishing of the room have been done with love for detail. Even if we played a lot of difficult rooms in the Netherlands these rooms were challeging. We played with just 2 and are having experience in escape rooms. You can surely play the rooms with 2, but I think 4 persons is ideal. We really loved playing both rooms. Both rooms would also in the Netherlands, where playing escape rooms is much bigger with a much bigger audience, these two rooms could match themselves with rooms in the Netherlands. It also always helps that your game host is as passionated as you are about playing the room. With Aiden as host that for pretty secured. Can you escape team thanks for the experience and your hospitality. Wishing all the luck and succes to make Can you escape one of Malta’s main attractions for people who also want to do something different than visiting the nice cities, sides and enjoying...
Read moreTo preface my review, I would consider myself an escape room enthusiast. I have done over 20 rooms around the world. After some reflection, I decided that this place is my all-time favorite.
My boyfriend and I were only able to do The Forbidden Castle and Emily’s Motel Room during our three days in Malta. Originally, I had only booked The Forbidden Castle, but we loved the experience so much we ended up booking Emily’s Motel Room on the last night by calling the day of.
I wish that we were able to do ALL of the rooms that they offer because they do an impeccable job with their room design and construction. I thought that I had seen a lot of what one would expect inside of an escape room, but I was pleasantly surprised by the unique mechanics that they included in their rooms. I can’t spoil too much from what happens in the rooms, but they were SO COOL… and the owners themselves ideated and built them! Compared to other escape rooms that I have done, I am impressed with their creativity and high attention to detail. When you walk into these doors, just know that you’re getting some of the best of the best in the game. The Forbidden Castle for sure needs to be on every escape room fanatic’s bucket list if they ever have an opportunity to go to Malta.
Riccardo and Jeanice operate a family-run business, and they are both awesome game masters. I could tell that they have a sincere passion for their craft, doing their best to make experiences memorable for groups and to ensure wonderful customer service. I wish them all the success in the world with their business because they truly deserve it. I hope one day that I can return and see more (if not all) of the rooms that they...
Read moreCan you Escape? I think you can, if you don't lose your view to the lovely detailed rooms. We came there a bit early and got the chance to play another room before our booked timeslot and it wasn't a problem. We were nice welcomed and they explained us the rules and the story in the small lobby were you can get some water. We play the forbidden castle and emily's motel room. Emily's was a bit too scary for us, but you can choose the amount of effects before you start and if its still to scary for you, they will reduce the effects within the game. The room itself is nevertheless well designed. I would say a good room with some good puzzles, not to hard. If you don't want to play the scary one, just play the castle. Really well designed, a good amount of decoration and details and the puzzle are well integrated in the room. I would say one of our best rooms we played so far. After we finished both rooms we had some small talk with the owners and they showed us the third room. Also lovely designed, but i would say more a standard escape room. Good for beginners. The location is not the best for them, it's a bit hard to reach but give it a try - worth it! If you are some lost tourist, like us, they even recommend you their favourite restaurants and reserve a...
