A fantastic evening! Great for kids and adults. Lovely food followed by fun entertainment. I wasn't to sure what to expect but to describe our All Inclusive evening: Approx 7pm picked up by minibus from a hotel near our apartment as emailed to us earlier in the week. We then continue our journey collecting more families/ couples. 7.25ish arrive at the destination - a lovely old building with a pretty indoor courtyard. We are seated at a table (not shared tables) and wait a little while for Lola and Brian to tour the tables and introduce themselves. Then the waiter came to take our drinks and food orders. Drinks on arrival would've been nice, but it wasn't too long to wait. Drinks and then shortly after the starters arrived. The portions were huge! The pasta starter could have been a main dish and then the main course was enormous too, with an extra side dish of vegetables and potatoes we could barely touch it was so much! All tasted lovely and we could order more drinks as we wanted them. About 9.15pm, after desert and coffee we were then called upstairs by Lola to start taking our seats. We could bring our drinks and were directed to a specific place to sit. The small theatre room is in 4 tiered rows and sits about 25 so very intimate, there's no hiding! The show was great fun. I'd say best for children about 8+ and adults. Nothing too scary and risky, even with the Halloween theme. Lots of audience participation and giggles with what seemed like at least one person from each family/ couple called on to help in some way with a few going up on stage to assist with some great classic magic acts. Then at about 10.45pm the show ended, we all said our thanks and went back down to our minibus and dropped off back at our pick up point by...
Read moreI booked this for myself, my husband and two teenage sons after seeing all the good reviews and was not disappointed. We had a private taxi to take us there and back to our accommodation in Rabat. The setting is fabulous with the Maltese decorations, it is partly exposed as there isn't a roof over some of the building. The food was excellent and was a buffet style so we could help ourselves and my fussy youngest son found enough to eat. During the meal we were entertained with Maltese dancers, musicians and singers, who came round to each table which at times. I also got the chance to join in with the dancing, along with others, much to the embarrassment of my youngest son - still I had fun! After the meal we were taken upstairs to the tiniest theatre I have ever seen, I think it only seated around 30 people? Then we had the magic show form Brian and his assistant Lola. They were fab. The show was fun, clever and funny. The whole audience seemed to enjoy it. All in all this was a unique and unforgettable experience, one of the highlights of our holiday. I would highly recommend it, thank you...
Read moreAfter a two year gap we returned to see Brian and Lola. The food and service before the show was excellent, plentyful tasty local food. The show was fun and interactive. The venue and all the staff, including Brian and Lola worked tirelessly to fulfil the Covid-19 restrictions, however we were two of the four who ate before the show, two of the eight or ten who saw the show. The food part was without atmosphere and the show like a poorly attended fringe show. I hope that Malta will move with the rest of the world and stop imposing bizarre rules on entertainment and theatres, so to let what this amazing venue and performers do what...
