Beautiful beach, velvet soft sand and clear, warm Pacific ocean water. We got there early for surf lessons with West Side Surf School and stayed for most of the day (which turned out to be a bit too long, see sun warning below). The northern end of the beach become a bit busier as the morning went on with all the surf schools providing shade and chairs for their students, and the beach vendors definitely know where to find the tourists. However, the mini beach cantina that was set-up several meters from our umbrella was exactly what we didn't realize we needed! They served up refreshing, cold cervezas con limon and even served us right at our umbrella. A true beach vacation experience we appreciated!

WARNING We were under an umbrella and had applied sunscreen but still, my husband got fried! The sun reflects off the water AND the sand enough to burn! Do yourself the favor and use a high SPF, wear SPF swimwear if you have it, and reapply every...

A friend of ours who lives in Cabo stopped in for us to have a look around.

It's definitely a Surfers Paradise for sure, dirt road access in with a lot of lots for sale that you can see on the way in.

The Beach itself is very nice, but the constant techno music drove us all nuts. We actually sat at the one beach bar and waited to be served ( which never happened ) so after 15 minutes we actually left. We were actually shocked as our friend is actually Born and raised in Cabo and he was even disappointed in the entire experience.

I can definitely see in 20/30 years or so if they paved the road in this place would be one of the next boom towns. Maybe they don't want that, and keep it the way it is. But I definitely could see that happening in the future.
