This is a very interesting place to get an education about the BCS peninsula. The museum offers a lot of education and information about the BCS peninsula past as well as how LaPaz started in history, including major points and key factors of people and its internal government. The museum itself is very clean. We were seated right away and was placed in a room to watch an introductory film about the country. After the film, we then went to another part of the museum that has lots of information about the peninsula. It was a little bit of a drive to get to El triumph. If you don’t mind the country roads, I would advise and recommend to drive here during the day then at night. As the roads are really narrow, and there is wildlife, including wild cows on the road. For better visibility, I would recommend driving during the day to be safer. Other than that, this once thriving village used to offer so much and now it has calm down over many decades. Read moreThis is an excellent and worthwhile museum that we enjoyed very much. The history presented is fantastic, and the staff is so kind and helpful. One small note, however: they have a number of foreign flags flying on top of the building to commemorate the various nationalities that contributed to the development of the so-called Ruta de Plata. One of the flags that they intended to display is the Polish flag, presumably in honor of Leonardo Orlynski as explained in the museum. However, the flag that is flying is not the Polish flag (white on top of red), but either the Indonesian or Monagasque flag (red on top of white). Of course I am sure this is an unintended oversight, but I only mention it in case the museum can correct it. Thank you again for the...
Read moreTriunfo is a little village high in the mountains between La Paz and San Jose del Cabo-the history of this area, what happened and where they are moving towards now is amazing and I highly recommend visiting. We took the double museum tour, which includes a short documentary, and toured the museums. This place is beautiful, peaceful, welcoming and so worth the visit! There are several restaurants, shops, and walkable trails to explore. This place will not be sleepy for long- reminded us of Todos Santos before it was so commercialized. Easy and safe drive, easy day trip from LaPaz, San Jose,...
