Decided to visit this place after visiting the nearby town. We were looking for somewhere a bit more affordable with more interesting food and we found both here. Excellent food with excellent prices and very friendly staff who seemed both knowledgeable and proud of their cooking.

I loved he coffee which they make in a local style, also the aguas frescas are great and not sickly sweet. We tried the burrito, quesadilla, and empanada. The quesadilla with the house made lean chorizo was the best! Also enjoyed the empanada which was very tasty, but deep fried so I would only recommend one to share. They also have a good looking Sunday menu we wished we could have tried.

If you are passing through El Triunfo it is well worth your time to take the 2-3 minute drive up here to experience some great local food at good prices in picturesque surroundings. Can't wait...

My partner and I went on a cycling holiday at the southern end of B.C.S., and this was an unexpected gem of a restaurant we happened upon.

The seating is under a roof but is "outdoors." There was a language barrier and the server needed to get someone who spoke a moderate amount of English (we tried our best to speak Spanish!)

I am vegetarian and they only had mushroom & cheese quesadillas and empanadas. We ordered both, and our jaws dropped at how delicious these were. The agua de Jamaica was also some of the best we had in the region.

We will certainly be back when we find ourselves in El...

We LOVE stopping here! Empanadas are amazing! The ranchero local Tamales are amazing- the maiz is super flavorful and them put on the grill- so amazing you’ll wanna get more to take home or even crave the next day. Service is amazing!! Chefs are super talented. Guacamole is a must! Limited English but you can’t go wrong ordering something random off the menu. Plenty of parking. Restaurant is huge, goes in the back w tons of tables there. It’s the restaurant right before you get into Triunfo traveling west. You’ll see all the cars there bc...

Specifically come to Triunfo for this place!! You will be so grateful you did, and you’ll never forget the chilaquiles and deep fried mushroom empanada that you enjoyed with that fresh glass of orange juice for just $8 US. Seriously incredible and the ambiance is wonderful. They also have a very special barbacoa meal they offer only on Sundays and people drive from La Paz and Cabo just for it! Wonderful people, beautiful setting, delicious food, and great prices… probably one of our favorite places in ALL of Baja.
