Decided to visit this place after visiting the nearby town. We were looking for somewhere a bit more affordable with more interesting food and we found both here. Excellent food with excellent prices and very friendly staff who seemed both knowledgeable and proud of their cooking.
I loved he coffee which they make in a local style, also the aguas frescas are great and not sickly sweet. We tried the burrito, quesadilla, and empanada. The quesadilla with the house made lean chorizo was the best! Also enjoyed the empanada which was very tasty, but deep fried so I would only recommend one to share. They also have a good looking Sunday menu we wished we could have tried.
If you are passing through El Triunfo it is well worth your time to take the 2-3 minute drive up here to experience some great local food at good prices in picturesque surroundings. Can't wait...

We will certainly be back when we find ourselves in El...
