Viña de Liceaga — Attraction in Baja California

A large group of us visited this winery Saturday afternoon. We were greeted with great service and they set us up with a large table for 16. We took a peek at the restaurant space in the back called Robleza. It's an outdoor setting surrounded by oak trees. Will have to stop by there one of these days. All our group did the tasting which was $16 for 4 pours (1 white, 1 rose, 2 reds). A decent value. I liked the white, but wasn't a fan of the rest. I think all the wines we tasted were blends with many different varietals, and I'm not big on that. I didn’t buy any bottles like I usually do. Overall my group enjoyed the visit to Liceaga. The location was convenient as a starting point. The tasting room is a large open space with great decorations and many tables. I'd definitely come back for Robleza and ask to taste some...

This place looks great, the wine selection- like any other place in Valle de Guadalupe is one of a kind. However the low review is due to the extremely bad service the owener/event coordinator the owner had towards us. We were looking for places for our wedding, and we were never given a proper call back. After many, many calls with them and false promises made to us. We just gave up and decided for another place....

I think we arrived late to take the tour in this place, since it was very dark and we only visited the facilities inside, but from what I have seen they have the vineyard and more beautiful areas on their property, so I didn't love it because I feel that we were missing something else, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, for the modern places in the valley this one seemed to me that it needed to be something...
