La Botella Bistro — Restaurant in Baja California

This is a wonderful restaurant on the 3d into Valle De Guadeloupe. Do not be dissuaded by its location in a filling station, it is excellent, fresh food prepared to order, with creative and unique flavors. While staying in the Valle we went back a second time to Botella because we had such a great experience the first time. The salmon was fresh and perfectly cooked, the bread and pizza dough was homemade and the house salad vinaigrette is from scratch and delicious. The serving staff was attentive and friendly and there was definitely a feeling that they were doing something remarkable with their food and atmosphere. Highly recommended, we will be going back when we return...

We stayed at the Parre del Valle next door (this restaurant serves as their resort restaurant, providing room service, etc., but is also open to the public). We had lunch, happy hour drinks, and then breakfast here, and it was all great. Highlights were the chilaquiles, sangria and margarita, the homemade tortillas and salsas/macha. The staff are so friendly, some speak more English and some less, so we practiced our Spanish, but the menu was in English. Super sweet wait staff. We didn't make it, but they had live music on weekends, too....

Left my husband and I speach less. We dud not expect good portioned foods in an area that is usually know for being "fancy". Never judge a book by its cover right... also is it a complaint that the waitresses would pass by our table and clean the table too often. That's the only thing I felt they could improve on, it made us feel like they were rushing us a bit because by the time we were finishing eating there was a lot more people coming in to eat.
