The first winery in Valle de Guadalupe - this is a truly historic building ... the oldest standing building in Valle de Guadalupe since the early 1800’s... the place is beautiful with goats in the back that’s say hi to you when you come up to the back. Jo Ann Knox Martino is the owner and was such a great hostess offering us 3 flights of wine. This place is so beautiful also housing a gallery to many artists to display and sell their art. Family owned and run winery with an excellent restaurant. This is a very chill place to picnic, drink wine, visit the animals or have a meal in the Argentinian Barbecue Restaurant under the biggest Palapa I have ever seen! There is a fireplace there too for chilly evenings. The barbecue meal for 4 is fabulous. So much food at such reasonable prices. I can't thank Humberto and his family enough for a amazing night and making us feel like we belonged. It's cash only (learned the hard way) but if you're open for a property with a menagerie of goats, ducks, and ostriches (yes) then make sure to stop in. Be back soon?
