Parador Mercedes is relatively new in Baja and has quickly become one of the top recommended places by locals. We came for breakfast but I really want to come back for lunch hours. We tried the bisquets as an entree and these were simply wonderful. I could just come back for those. They are served with cream and jam. Service was ok but far from as passionate as we have seen at other good restaurants.
Design of the restaurant also felt a lot better in photos...

Ask to sit in the patio, where the breeze can hit you under that big, huge, beautiful tree because it can get stuffy and hot inside. We visited in August. Excellent service. They have delicious home made bread. They accept reservations, family, friendly kid, friendly menu. Highly recommend it. It's right on the main road heading into valle , very easy to get there...
