El Negrito Gorditas y Micheladas — Restaurant in Bernal

Delicious gorditas to try if you are in Bernal! I got the chicharron guisado, huitlacoche, and tinga. My favorite was the huitlacoche & I loved the side sauces that they brought, they weren’t that spicy and brought out the right amount of flavor. I will say though, the tortillas of the Gorditas themselves are made out of Minsa, but I thought if would be made out of fresh grinded corn. The agua de Tamarindo is also delicious and refreshing. I knew this was the famous restaurant for gorditas in Bernal and I was worried it would not live up to my expectations, especially after we had outstanding gorditas in Queretaro; BUT - it was OUTSTANDING.
