The museum itself was great but Manuel made the experience one of a kind. We showed up at 3PM on a Saturday and were the only guests there. Manuel walked us through the entire property and took the time to explain almost every single artifact and piece of art. Visiting during día de muertos was great because there was a beautiful altar set for Jose and Olga in the interior garden. We stood with Manuel for what seemed like an hour by the altar while he shared many personal and special stories of his years spent with Jose and Olga.
