This summer, I decided to take my girls to Kidzania GDL, since it was new for us and we had such a wonderful experience in Mexico city years before, we wanted to try it out. Let me start with my purchase of tickets online, I picked my date and pay, when I received my tickets I noticed that it was an incorrect date. Tried to call several times and nobody answers the phone, I ended going to the location to fix my problem. There were two ladies in a desk on your right hand, their attitude is the worst customer service that I had received in my life, I turned around and explained my problem to other lady which told me that she will help me and called a supervisor, she came and fixed my tickets to my desire date... well before she left, she basically told me that I was stupid and didn't purchase online the correct date... You don't tell a customer that, I'm pretty sure that I put the correct date and second, I already had spent my morning in there trying to fix it. Well, today we finally used our tickets and went. The place is small as hell, crowed with a lot of incompetent employees, which have a long, sad and not welcoming face... (nothing like Kidzania Cuicuilco which we had been several times, my kids have brown Kidzania passport ) a lot of uneducated mom's trying to teach their kids how to cut lines and don't respect others.. nobody there shows a little of the philosophy of this well know franchise...
I don't think that it will succeed.. lacks of leadership, friendly employees and it's not cheap! plus terrible FOOD options, nasty dominoes pizza and sushi...
So GDL it's a great city, go and spend your day doing something else, or buy a flight and try Kidzania Mexico City.

Read moreCute idea, very poorly done. I took my 7 and 9 yo kids to kidzania Gdl today while visiting Mexico. The experience unfortunately left a great deal to be desired. We showed up around 12:00 and we were excited to go in as the entrance is truly amazing. We paid 2 kids+2 adults $1,100 MX pesos. We were given a map, wristbands and each kid received a credit card. My kids do not speak Spanish fluently so we were given wristbands to go in with them. We decided to try the paramedics/ambulance first and waited in line for over one hour. Our second activity was construction and we waited in line 1.5 hours. There is really no place to form a line as everything is cramped and crammed so this causes a huge problem. The line formed right at the exit for a slide so people are getting hit constantly and all lines are just a mess The third activity we tried was firefighters and that was a 2+ hour wait. It was around 6pm by now, and we had only done 3 activities. My kids decided to do one more that had a shortline (aeromexico simulator) and we made our way to Liverpool to cash in their money. Nope it was 6: 32 and we were not allowed to get in line to shop with their money. They told us we could come back or use it at a different kidzania. I thought this was the epitome of poor customer service. We walked around but by then every activity was closed. We won't be coming back, and I don't recommend as we spent 5 out of 7 hours we spent here waiting in line. This could be remedied by having more than 1 person working at the booth and doing everyth.

I went to visit today with my family and had a mix up with my tickets for the wrong days. When i went to talk to customer service about it, they basically said I am out of luck and they wouldn't refund my money or change the dates of the tickets. They screwed me out of admission @$60 USD for my kid and that of some good friends. We ended up leaving the place without getting in, my kids were crying and upset, my friends were upset as well, and the people working the kiosk could care less. In short this company represents the worst that customer service has to offer in Mexico. They are greedy and don't seem to have sight of the fact that the customer is important and should matter. Horrible place, don't go! They will rip you off 1st chance they get. To the execs of this company-You should be ashamed of yourselves. Moving forward, I will badmouth your company on every online platform available and make sure word gets out of your shady businesses practices. I wrote this review not because I care about the $60 USD that I lost, but rather because of the plain and simple fact that customer service with your company is severely lacking and needs much improvement. This review should serve as a warning to all to be careful and don't let yourself be taken advantage of by these uncaring group of thieves.
