Galerias Insurgentes — Attraction in Mexico City

Small mall with some stores, mainly to buy clothes, glasses & sunglasses, beauty products, shoes and a couple of restaurants (Johnny Rockets and Sanborns´), it also has a food court with many options (sadly nothing vegan, except salads :/). It connects with a Liverpool store that offers more food options (in the upper terrace they have "experiencia gourmet" a fancy sort of food court with many stalls offering a variety of food, they even have a couple of slides for toddlers). Galerías Insurgentes, also known as Centro Comercial Galerías Insurgentes, is a shopping mall in Insurgentes sur and Parroquia. Its on the corner of Parroquia and Avenida Insurgentes, as an accompanying shopping center for department store Liverpool. Its design is purely European, as it houses a Louvre type glass pyramid and a towering Longines clock on its facade. Currently it showcases a big football for Russia 2018 world cup by Adidas. Nice shopping centre. Clean and open spaces. We made a quick visit for a SIM card (chip) and found one in the tech store. Staff in the store were helpful even putting the chip on the phone. On entry we had to ensure masks were worn, temperature checked and hands sanitised.
